The MacDonald SLE-B is from our SOLO range of IR sensor activated water controls specifically designed for medical or dental facility requirements.
SLE-B is designed for use as a “swipe on / swipe off” product to deliver water to a basin outlet. Maximum run times and lock-out times can be set set on dip switches located inside the control module. These include specific “modes” for surgery scrub sinks. Refer to Installation Instructions for options.
SLE-B is supplied as a standalone product where tempered water is supplied via a quality thermostatic mixing valve. The SLE-B controller is mounted behind the sensor face plate, which is fixed to a horizontally mounted double gang flush box. Leads supplied with each controller require the solenoid valve and 3 pin GPO to be within 4m of the sensor plate position. For ease of access for servicing, it is recommended both the solenoid, thermostatic mixer and GPO be installed within the wall cavity beneath the basin, with a suitable access panel to provide protection. A MacDonald Model ZA 345 x 345 stainless steel access panel would be ideal.
