Pressalit Indivo lifts are height adjustable systems for fitting to the walls of the kitchen, allowing both seated and standing users to adjust the worktop to thier height. The lifts can cater to sizes from 600 - 3000mm in length and are suited to kitchens in homes, school food tech classrooms, special needs homes, rest homes, and any other building where this need will benefit the users. A kitchen with a height adjustable worktop becomes accessible to a wheelchair user, one with a height adjustable hob or sink even more so. A height adjustable kitchen improves the daily workflow in the kitchen. It allows everybody to participate in food preparation and cooking, increasing independence and increasing social interactions with the other occupants of the home. The ease of adjustment allows adaptation to individual needs at the push of a button, so both seated and standing users will be able to use the kitchen facilities to the best of their abilities. This includes everybody in daily tasks and creates a community around mealtimes, leading to better quality of life for everybody.
We recommend a bracket on each side of any penetraction (for cooktop, sink, etc) therefore you may require extra brackets than the number supplied with your lift kit. Each Pressalit Indivo lift comes with a different number of brackets as standard (see models).
To adjust the Pressalit Indivo electrical lift, all the lifters are adjusted by pressing a button in the worktop fascia. Each button controls a worktop, allowing easy adjustment up or down to the correct height and back again. A kitchen with electrically powered height adjustment is ideal for situations with several users with varying needs (manual crank adjustment is also available). This makes it suitable for private homes with seated and standing users, as well as for nursing homes, teaching kitchens and similar facilities.
